## Job Description
Summary:
Loads and unloads material within a warehouse facility.
Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads material within a warehouse facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks, or trains and within the storage facility. Conducts shipping and receiving functions as necessary for the facility. Receives Inventory Purchase Orders into the JDE system. Stocks inventory into their proper locations in inventory. Collects Work Orders and Sales Orders from the pull sheets and prepares them for production. Makes the necessary transactions to Work Orders and Sales Orders to relieve the perpetual inventory. Requires a high school diploma with 2-5 years of experience in the field or related area. Has knowledge of standard practices and procedures within a particular field. Familiar with Cycle Counting. Experienced with using a computerized Manufacturing system in the execution of daily routine. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of other tasks as needed. Works under general supervision; typically reports to supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Qualifications/Competencies/
Experience:
Requires a high school diploma with 2-5 years of experience in the field or related area. Shipping & Receiving Experience.
Experience with Inventory Control Processes
Good Computer Skills (ie Word, Excel, etc)
Able to lift 50 lbs and move heavy pallets with fork truck and pallet jack.
Must be Safe conscious employee.
